We cannot give you a final cost / estimate over the phone. We can however, estimate the job on visual inspection of the photographs you supply. Final costs would be done on site after a physical inspection and dismantle.

Yes, we are a fully accredited Tesla Collision Repair Centre. We have the ability and training to work on all electric vehicles.

If your vehicle is unable to be driven, call your insurance company for more assistance, Sommerville Smash Repairs on 07 55965 711 during business hours or Tow Trucks Light and Heavy on their Tow Hotline 139869. We can arrange that your vehicle is transported safely to our specialized workshop. Do not drive a car that is not road worthy.

Have the following information at hand when you contact your Car Insurance providers Claims department to lodge your claim.

  • Date and time of incident
  • Location of incident
  • Make and model of all vehicles involved.
  • Driver’s name(s)
  • Registration number(s)
  • Driver’s license number(s)
  • Insurance company of other parties involved.
  • Police involvement if required or available
  • Request vehicle to be repaired at Sommerville Smash Repairs

If you have been involved in an accident, the first step is to make sure that you and anyone else involved are safe and out of harm’s way. Call emergency services if necessary. Exchange details with the other party, including names, contact information, and insurance details. Take photos of the damage to both vehicles, and any other details that may be relevant to the incident. Once you have done all this, contact your Insurance Provider to lodge your claim and arrange them to allocate the repairs to Sommerville Smash Repairs. We will guide you through the process and work with your insurance company to get your vehicle repaired as quickly as possible.

If you have choice of repairer in your insurance contract and a claim number leave the rest to us.

This will depend on your insurance policy and PDS. It is advantageous for you to have Choice of Repairer in your policy, this way your insurance company can not dictate where your car is repaired, you have the final choice.

You need to contact your insurer and let them know that you have had an accident in the first instance. They will direct you to a repairer, however if you have choice of repairer ask them to allocate your repairs to us. We have experience working with various insurance companies and can guide you through the process to make the whole process seamless.
